What I do at CURE: I wear many hats, including reading and responding to your letters, helping put out the magazine and writing bits ‘n pieces for the magazine.
What I like about CURE: I enjoy putting my skills to good use and flexing my creative side to produce something meaningful for people. Plus, I get to work with an awesome group of people.
What I do when I’m not working at CURE: Spend time with friends, family and my dog, bake, travel, craft, read, write, and constantly try new activities/experiences—my current experiment is learning to belly dance, next is taking up yoga
My journey before CURE included: I’ve spent most of my time in school cultivating my different interests, including English, ancient history and psychology, before getting my masters in journalism.
Interesting fact about myself: I spent a portion of my childhood in a foreign country (Yemen) and globetrotting.
One of my favorite quotes:
seeker of truth
follow no path
all paths lead where
truth is here

A movie I like: The Princess Bride
Favorite ice cream flavor: Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food
