[size=8]I'm a 59-year-old female.I completed treatment (surgery, chemo, radiation) for Stage III-A NSCLC over 5 years ago. I also have (diagnosed 6 years ago, no treatment to date) Stage 0 CLL. The fatigue which started with my radiation therapy has never abated. I wake up un-refreshed (after 7-8 hours of sleep), need both a morning & afternoon nap, & generally can't make it past 10pm. Going out in the evening (to a movie, to visit with friends, to a late dinner, etc) is impossible. The most strenuous thing I do is walk my dog - slowly, about 2 blocks. Exercise was suggested, & I spent 6 months swimming daily (about 15-20 mins was all I could manage before either weakness or breatheing difficulty made me stop). The result? NOTHING - no change at all. So I stopped (frankly, I didn't enjoy it at all & couldn't see continuing something which wasn't helping). Has anyone else had similar experiences?
