October marks several anniversaries:
***Five years since the last TCC bladder tumor.
***13, 19, and 23 years since the malignant meningioma brain tumors.
The first and third brain tumors were removed on October 31. I sent that neurosurgeon a Halloween card: "Why do Jack-O-Lanterns often have a silly grin on their face ?" "If someone scooped out your head......."
(The first, of five kinds, cancer was the melanoma in 1976. The last -- RCC kidney was in 2007.)
