Cure Connections®

Dental Hygiene and Multiple Myeloma

Patients with multiple myeloma need to be cautious of their dental hygiene, as they are susceptible to the development of oral complications.

In this CURE Connections program, moderator, Dr Philippa Cheetham, discusses strategies to monitor and manage oral hygiene with Dr Charles Wakefield, a dentist and multiple myeloma patient. As discussed in this program, it is important for patients to become educated and take a proactive role in their care. Doing so can help reduce the risk of developing adverse events and can improve one’s well-being.
