I am a breast cancer survivor and I'm a little offended by the entry article. Breast cancer gets a lot of attention because women contribute to the cause, (and men have a vested interest.) I know a few men get breast cancer, too, but the point I want to express that it's not so "popular" of a disease. Women contribute and keep the cause for women alive. And that concept is spreading as now men are advocating more in support of prostate cancer. Common now, cancer is cancer. That football players wear pink on the field during their October games lets us know that they support us, too. We should all support one another no matter what kind of cancer. A person can't get involved in every cancer there is. I support in my own small way as I am retired and poor, St. JUde's Children' s hospital. And have been an advocate for women and cancer by facilitating their support group. No matter how you get involved, just get involved even if it's a segment of it all and let's be together. There already too much division all around us.
