I am out of active treatment since the end of 2014 (three years now.) I had chemo, targeted therapy, radiation, surgery. Now I take an aromatase inhibitor each day. I am easily fatigued. My feet often hurt from neuropathy. People think I am cured, hip hip hooray. Yes, I agree, I survived when I thought I wouldn't. But they don't get that it isn't always fun to be me. It beats the alternative of being dead. But I they don't realize how miserable cancer fatigue feels.
