Seven years after chemo and radiation my dentist informs me my mouth is in life threatening condition. My gums have shrunken back and exposed the teeth to threatening bacteria. I have had two teeth decay and break off at the gums. The oral surgeon is unable to extract the remaining portion of these teeth because there is a good chance this would compromise my jaw. At this time I have several cavities and other issues but have been put on hold because the doctors in this area do not except Medicare. The stress from these issues are worse than when I went through cancer.
