My mother owned a pretty unsocial feral cat. The cat spent most of its time running from hiding spot to hiding spot. When my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the cat would always sit where her tumor was. After my mom passed, we inherited her cat. Fast forward 5 years...every time I sit on the couch the cat is there putting her paws on the same spot on my left breast. Freaks me out a little, I am 3 months away for my annual mammogram. I go get one anyway. Where was my tumor? In that exact spot. I had a lumpectomy and radiation and the cat never did it again. My husband refers to what happened as my "cat" scan.
