I respectfully disagree with 80% of this article. I have an extremely rare form of NHL, Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia. There are 1,500 new cases/yr. in the U.S. After getting it and going through 12 rounds of chemo, research I've done has shown that due to my 100+ oz. of diet soda a day for over 4-5yrs, I most likely caused this cancer. My question to the author is why would anyone want to put ANY aspartame in their body? Seems like many studies that look for 'cause' are usually funded by the companies that have the most to lose in lost revenue if their product is shown to cause or be a causative factor in getting any kind of cancer.
