Each year, CrossFit gyms from around the world raise funds for breast cancer through Barbells for Boobs, a nonprofit that was founded over ten years ago by Zionna Hanson, who created the organization over ten years ago after her best friend was diagnosed with the disease at age 26. The mission of Barbells for Boobs is to empower people to take action against breast cancer, and money raised helps individuals of all ages and insurance statuses get screening.
