Arend says that it is an exciting time for ovarian cancer treatment advanced. Researchers are quickly learning more about not only the tumors themselves, but also the tumor micro-environments. Ultimately, better understanding of each patient’s cancer will lead to more personalized treatment. Arend predicts that eventually there will be trials available to most newly diagnosed patients with cancer.
