What I do at CURE: Managing editor for CURE’s books and special projects division.
What I like about CURE: The staff and how we all share the common goal of helping people understand the complexities and nuances of a very complicated disease.
Something I’m proud of: My seven nieces and nephews. They are all under the age of 10, and they are all more tech savvy than I will ever be.
My journey before CURE included: Working for design magazines in New York.
What I do when I’m not working at CURE: Estate sale shopping, reading, jogging and fixing up my 1895 home.
Interesting fact about myself: My first job in high school was working at a donut shop. And happy to report, I still love donuts!
Favorite quote: "Don’t accept your dog’s admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful." Ann Landers
What I love most about my job: The fact that I’m using my skills as an editor and a writer in a very meaningful way, and that each day here at CURE feels like a tribute to my father, who passed away from melanoma in 2006.
