I would like to hear from other cancer survivors how they felt their life's perspective changed post treatment. For me, life after cancer gave me an opportunity to do what I have referred to as "inner work." I spent a great deal of time both during and after my active treatment regimen to become more introspective about what I wanted for myself in the future, however long that would be. In general, I feel cancer gave me a greater appreciation & reverence for life. I concentrate even more on the "here and now." I feel I am much more grounded about what really is important to focus on. I definitely feel I am a better person having gone through this life-altering cancer journey. Anyone else like to share your thoughts?
Thanks,
