My name is Terry King. I was diagnosed in February 2019 with smoldering Multiple Myeloma. As of today I am still considered smoldering, with no signs of the disease and currently receiving no medication.
Hearing the news of Multiple Myeloma was devastating for me, my husband, daughters and spouses. I am very thankful for the support from friends and family. My faith in God has carried me through some tough times as I’ve worked with coming to terms with this illness.
I heard of the rim to rim trek after researching MM through the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and felt compelled to do the trek to raise funds for MM research and eventually a cure. I am so looking forward to meeting our team and getting to know the other team members who are also committed to funding research for MMRF. Thank you Terry
