I'm an oncology nurse practitioner specializing in multiple myeloma. I hike for my patients and their families as well as people close to me who have been affected by myeloma. I live in Southern NH and commute to Boston for work because I love what I do and love where I live. The White Mountains are my favorite place to be, especially during the summer when I can hike. This Mt. Washington trek is truly a blend of two of my strongest interests, so I couldn't wait to apply to be part of the team. As I've been fundraising so far, it has been really amazing seeing how many people are familiar with myeloma. People are so giving and I'm grateful for this opportunity to give back in a different way. I'm really looking forward to meeting others who have a connection to myeloma and enjoy hiking. It will be a great experience. I can't wait!
