Gaining Empowerment as Caregivers

I’m a busy dentist in early December 2003, working over 60 hours per week seeing many patients as well as directing a graduate residency at a busy dental school in a major medical center. I also am very active in athletics, running, cycling, etc, and often am up before 4:00 AM to get in workouts. I travel often to speak to dental meetings, am married to a full time teacher and have three children who are in school becoming a physician/surgeon, a dentist and an attorney.

It Really Is About the Journey, Not the Destination

A 15-person team of multiple myeloma patients, doctors, family members, and supporters climbed the renowned 19,341-foot Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, to raise awareness and funds for critical multiple myeloma research.
