For "Stay Close," I wanted to convey the sense of comfort you get from a good scan but in the company you keep. There are people in your life, especially while facing cancer, that just make you feel loved, supported and comforted. Those people give me the same feelings a good scan report does. They give me hope. This piece was hand drawn digitally with Procreate. This artwork was originally submitted for the CURE® 2021 Healing Through Hues Calendar Contest.
