
Survivor to Thriver

Acrylic on Canvas 2’x2’ When I was surviving breast cancer in 2010 I would visualize my stage 2 tumors shrinking. Sunflowers growing and thriving always were a strong symbol of resilience and strength which gave me hope that someday I would be thriving again. Not surprising this year in my 12th year anniversary of being cancer free, it became Ukraine’s symbol too.
