Rise & Reach

I recently completed these two pieces they are 11 x 14 Acrylic. Painting releases stress for me, I find it very rewarding and relaxing. These pieces came through me trying to sleep and worrying and not worrying. I have completed treatment and have scans and an upcoming 3 month follow-up, interesting how we still are concerned although everything should and likely is fine. That is where these two paintings come from. One is "Calm & Concern" a dichotomy that is likely in all of us. The other is "Rise & Reach", about moving on.
