Advocacy Groups Collaborate in the Fight Against Prostate Cancer

Author(s):

It is important that advocacy organizations unify their message, says Mike Crosby, the founder of the Veterans Prostate Cancer Awareness group.

Mike Crosby, founder of Veterans Prostate Cancer Awareness, discusses how he plans on spreading his organization’s message to veterans across the United States, as well as the importance of advocacy groups working together.

Veterans Prostate Cancer Awareness uses the power of the internet and social media to spread their message regarding men’s health to those who have served in the military. The group also refers individuals to other prostate cancer nonprofits when appropriate. Ultimately, Crosby wants to work with these other organizations to streamline their message to both patients and providers.
