Banding Together to Fight Breast Cancer

It is important for those facing a cancer diagnosis to support one another.

It is crucial that breast cancer survivors, friends and family come together to help fight the disease. This was a main theme at the Philadelphia Women's Networking Connection's recent breast cancer event, explained the organizer, Felicia Shanken.

Those facing cancer need to know that they are not alone, especially since the disease can strike anyone, explained Shanken.
