During Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month we share an important story of three time cancer survivor, Susan Feinberg. Susan has had breast and fallopian tube cancer and most recently, primary peritoneal cancer. While her diagnoses and treatments have been difficult, Susan feels lucky to have been diagnosed when she was, with the ability to now be on a targeted oral maintenance therapy boosting her odds of beating cancer. This month we honor Susan and all those with, or at risk for, ovarian cancer.

Stepping Up Again for Hereditary Cancer Prevention
February 25th 2023On Feb. 6, HB 2783 was introduced into the Arizona House. Hopefully this bill will help address some of the issues surrounding genetic testing, genetic counseling, and insurance coverage for those who might be at risk for hereditary cancer. My wife died of a cancer that was totally preventable. Nobody should die of a preventable cancer.
