A hawk flying through the clouds
eyes me with harsh decision
I find comfort in the clouds
nurturing this moment of connection
with the wild
with the unexplained
with the unpredictable
Love and kindness bathe us all
in these waning days of expectation
Bravery takes on new meaning
as we navigate an oscillating world
