
Leftovers: Post Pelvic Cancer

This watercolor of a faceless patient in the prone position illustrates the shell that often remains after the reproductive system has been removed and after high-dose radiation and chemotherapy for adenocarcinoma of the cervix. Pelvic cancer patients face such stigma and feelings of emptiness and loss. My goal is to end stigma to save lives.
