Lung Cancer Living Room Brings Patients Together

While the living rooms take place in the ALCF's California headquarters, people around the world can tune in to the live stream, where they can participate and ask questions as if they were actually there.

Many people across the United States may feel alone after they are diagnosed with lung cancer, especially if they don't have a support group nearby, explained David LeDuc, the executive director of the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (ALCF).

So, the ALCF started "Lung Cancer Living Rooms," on the third Tuesday of each month. The event brings together patients and key opinion leaders in the field for support and conversation. While the living rooms take place in the ALCF's California headquarters, people around the world can tune in to the live stream, where they can participate and ask questions as if they were actually there.
