Katie Parker

Katie Parker is a nine-year breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed at age 36, with no family history or palpable abnormalities. Breast cancer gave her the passion to not only educate others on the importance of early detection but to support others on their journeys by working with organizations like the Young Survival Coalition, Living Beyond Breast Cancer and others. When not making award-winning chili, pie or salsa, Katie can be found listening to 80's music, reading and learning to play the ukulele.
