Join the Discussion: Looking Back on 2017

CURE Staff

The year 2017 has been a landmark year for cancer care, with nearly 20 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals, and more exciting agents in the pipeline. Studies have also been conducted that continue to broaden our understanding of health, wellness, nutrition and life after cancer. We’re interested to see what you think was the greatest advancement in treatment or survivorship care.

Join us today, Dec. 19, for our year-end #CureConnect tweet chat, where we will be diving into what our readers saw as the most important updates of the year. Maybe people were intrigued by the correlation between viruses and cancer, or maybe improving cancer survivorship was key this year.

We’ll also discuss handling the holidays after a cancer diagnosis. Is it stressful? Joyful? Maybe a little bit of both? Share your thoughts and experiences with a community of people who care about the same issues.

Finally, while so much has been accomplished in 2017, there is still much to be done in the year to come. What are the hopes and expectations for 2018?

Our tweet chat will begin at 1 p.m., Eastern time. To participate, log on to Twitter and search #CureConnect to follow along the conversation. CURE staff will be tweeting questions from our account (@Cure_Magazine) to get the conversation going. Feel free to offer your own input and resources – just remember to use the hashtag!

Don’t have time to join the chat? Read about these issues and more in our bonus issue of CURE magazine.
