Throughout the summer, CURE® highlighted many simple and healthy recipes that the oncology dietitians from the John Theurer Cancer Center put together for cancer survivors and patients. Here, we share some of those recipes.
CURE® kicked off its summer recipe series “Cooking with CURE” in June and partnered with oncology dietitians from John Theurer Cancer Center to provide our readers simple and healthy recipes that they could enjoy during those warm days and nights.
Even though fall is right around the corner, our readers can still enjoy these tasty dishes. Here, we share some of the fan favorites that we published over the last several months.
- In one of the earliest installments, our readers delighted over a versatile
recipe for granola bars that could easily be adjusted to an individual’s liking. - Many of us tend to buy more bananas than we originally thought we needed at the store and end up tossing them when they get overripe. CURE® shared a
simple recipe for banana oatmeal muffins that were loaded with fiber and were a perfect ‘grab and go’ snack. - Although this
protein-packed three bean vegetable chili recipe was released during our summer series, it can easily provide our readers with a warm and hearty meal as the seasons change. - As the summer raged on, CURE® shared a
blueberry coconut “nice cream” recipe to help our readers beat the mid-summer heat with a creamy dairy-free treat. - This fiber-loaded
