It Was A Happy Home

This painting signifies that everyone has their time and struggles but even in tough times, home with loved ones is a safe place. I am caregiver for my husband who is undergoing treatment for both prostate and colon cancer. We have been fighting advanced metastatic prostate cancer for 16 years and in the past three weeks have added stage 3 colon cancer to our fight. Painting is my therapy and takes me “away” from the daily stress and worries at least for a time. This artwork was originally submitted for the CURE® 2021 Healing Through Hues Calendar Contest.
