
I feel like an Emu!

My charcoal emu was a fun piece that I completed because I always felt my hair looked like an emu's feathers as it was growing back from chemotherapy. As an ovarian cancer survivor, I have lost my hair three times! Every time I lose my hair, it grows back a different texture and color: blonde, silver and dark brown.
