L.S. attended the clay class for years at Piedmont-Fayette Cancer Wellness Center. This is the last piece she completed before her 7-year cancer journey took her corporeal life. Although she did not name this, we believe she was aware that her journey was taking her to the light when she was working on this piece. Her son said that he believes her love of and involvement with the arts kept her in their lives years longer than they expected, and for that he is grateful.
