Serious Blue Cone Hat Girl

Living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, I sometimes find it really difficult to accept my situation. For me, emotions aren't a linear thing but more of a back and forth dance. Some days are more hopeful than others, and I do find that people can not be that understanding when I seem to be "fine" one day but not the next. This is another mixed media piece where I'm "in costume, performing" and being what others need me to be so they can be more comfortable. I must work on greater authenticity every day.
