Caregivers of women with ovarian cancer face a unique burden, according to Audra Moran, president and CEO of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA).

The stress of being a cancer caregiver can affect an individual’s health, so it is important that caregivers take care of themselves. They can do this in a number of ways, including support groups and educational conferences — like the OCRFA’s Ovarian Cancer National Conference – where they can find others who have walked in their shoes.
