Light Magnolia

I am a restless, hyperactive individual. I always have to be doing something. So, imagine me confined to my room for years because of cancer. As soon as I could muster up the smallest amount of strength, I was overdoing things with an outrageous sense of urgency. One by one I started to paint the rooms of our house, expanded my backyard garden, wrote and published a book, “My God It’s Cancer,” and resumed oil painting. And yes, I paid the price for violating the doctors’ orders many times. This artwork was originally submitted for the CURE® 2021 Healing Through Hues Calendar Contest.
