Save the date! We invite you to join CURE for our next monthly #CureConnect Tweet Chat on Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m. EST, when we plan on discussing cancer survivorship and all it entails.

Each month, we host a #CUREConnect Tweet Chat to bring together patients with cancer, survivors, advocates, caregivers & treatment providers to promote collaboration within the community.

The chats take place on Twitter on the last Thursday of every month, at 1 p.m. EST.

During the chat, we'll be asking the following questions:

Financial Impact

The financial burden as a result of cancer treatment is called Financial Toxicity. How have the costs of care affected you? What has helped you manage them?

Mental Health

The effects of cancer often go beyond the physical. What are some psychosocial or emotional issues you’ve experienced as a result of your diagnosis or treatment? How do you handle them?

Fear of Recurrence

While “scanxiety” comes with its own set of challenges, so too does life after being told you have no evidence of disease or are in remission. Has the fear of recurrence impacted your day-to-day life? How do you manage it?

Comorbidities/Lingering Side Effects

Some individuals feel the effects of cancer long after they’re first diagnosed. What comorbidities or lingering effects of cancer have you experienced?

Paying it Forward/Mentoring/Support Groups

Cancer can be very isolating, which is why many have turned to support groups and advocacy work to help them through their diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Do you have any experience in this area? How has it helped you?

Never participated in a Tweet Chat before? It’s simple!
