The investigational drug rinatabart sesutecan (Rina-S) shrank tumors in 45.9% of patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, a form of ovarian cancer that returns or grows soon after platinum-based chemotherapy, according to results from Part C of the phase 1/2 RAINFOL-01 trial. Responses lasted a median of 12.1 months, and the drug showed activity in patients regardless of how much of its target protein their tumors carried.
