Sunflower Dreams

painted this one in honor of my granddaughter, Heather. She loves sunflowers because they're always so cheerful and happy. Sunflowers have been instrumental in my healing journey, too, because whenever I'd be down in the dumps, my husband would bring home a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers or he'd take me to a sunflower field to pick them. Being surrounded by happy yellow flowers with their heads lifted toward the sun always pulled me out of a slump. I just love them!
