Sunset on Lake Marvin

I painted this one from a special memory of time with family. As a teen, we'd often stay at a lake house on Lake Marvin in North Georgia. The property was owned by the Girl Scouts Association. Since my mother was a scout leader and I was a senior scout at the time, we felt privileged to go there. It was always so peaceful and serene. My father loved to fish there with my brother. At sunset, we'd build a campfire and roast marshmallows to make s'mores.
