Keep Moving Forward
By FRANK NOLL

I have been an avid and competitive runner and cyclist for over 40 years. Two-and-a-half years ago, I took a fall while bike riding and had a scan to check for any fractures found an unrelated lung mass. It turned out to be inoperable advanced non-small cell lung cancer. After treatment with radiation and chemo, I have been in remission for two years. I continued to run and bike throughout my treatment and recovery. Moving forward on my bike has helped me move forward during my treatment and recovery, staying positive and as active as possible. My picture is a self portrait (oil on canvas) of me at the front of the group, moving forward.
