Beginning on March 30, Ken Burns’ documentary based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer will air on PBS. The website, CancerFilms.org, was developed to give viewers background information and an inside glimpse of the three-part, six-hour film. In addition to trailers, the site features a producer’s blog, a story wall where people can share their own experiences with cancer, and profiles of the creators, including author and oncologist Siddhartha Mukherjee and co-founder of Stand Up to Cancer, Laura Ziskin, who died of breast cancer in 2011.
