‘Advanced Care Planning: What Are Your Wishes’ to Be Featured at LiveLung Tampa

TAMPA, FL (June 9, 2026) – LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the Tampa area lung cancer community to its monthly educational meeting on Wednesday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at Holiday Inn Tampa North, 3751 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, and includes a complimentary lunch.

This meeting will feature Alicia Wlodynski, LCSW, APHSW-C, presenting “Advanced Care Planning: What Are Your Wishes.” In this informative session, Wlodynski will help individuals and families better understand advance care planning and the role it plays in making healthcare decisions that reflect personal values and wishes.

“Completing advance directives is a gift you can provide your loved ones and your medical team.” notes Wlodynski. “It allows them to grieve during a stressful time without the pressure of making decisions because it allows your voice to be heard when you can no longer speak.”

Wlodynski is an outpatient social worker at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she supports patients in the Thoracic, Endocrine, and Head and Neck Clinics. She joined Moffitt in 2024 after extensive work in hospice care, where she earned her Advanced Palliative Hospice Social Work Certification. Through her professional experience, Wlodynski has developed a strong passion for educating individuals and families about advance care planning.
