MARIETTA, GA (June 9, 2025) — LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by lung cancer, invites the community to its monthly educational meeting on Wednesday, June 17. The meeting, which includes complimentary lunch, will be held at Home2 Suites, 2168 Kingston Ct. SE, Marietta, GA.

Ananya Muralidharan, MM, MT-BC, LPMT

This month’s meeting will feature Ananya Muralidharan, MM, MT-BC, LPMT, a board-certified music therapist, presenting “The Healing Power of Music Therapy.” Muralidharan will share how music therapy can help individuals reduce stress, process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and find comfort and connection during difficult times.

“Many people are surprised to learn that music therapy is a research-based healthcare profession. As a board-certified music therapist, I use music intentionally to help individuals reduce stress, process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and find comfort and connection during difficult times,” said Muralidharan.

Muralidharan has a background in neuroscience and a passion for helping individuals find comfort, connection, and emotional support through music. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music therapy, with a minor in neuroscience, from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and completed her clinical internship at Pathways Hospice before becoming board-certified. She later earned a master’s degree in music with a music therapy specialization from Colorado State University while continuing her clinical work with both adults and children. Now based in the North Atlanta area, Muralidharan provides music therapy services focused on reducing stress, processing emotions, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful moments of comfort during difficult times.
