MARIETTA, GA (September 23, 2026) — LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by lung cancer, invites the community to its monthly educational meeting on Wednesday, October 21st at noon. The meeting, which includes a delicious complimentary lunch, will be held at Home2 Suites, 2168 Kingston Ct. SE, Marietta, GA.
This month’s meeting will feature Nanette C. McGhee, MSM, MSW, oncology social worker and cancer navigator with Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She will present “From Distress to Resilience: Supporting the Psychosocial Needs of Lung Cancer Patients and Families.” As part of oncology support services, McGhee is dedicated to supporting patients and families as they navigate the emotional, psychosocial, and practical challenges of cancer care.

McGhee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, a Master of Science in Management, and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice.
