AUGUSTA, GA (May 5, 2026) LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the CSRA’s lung cancer community to its educational meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. The free event, which includes a complimentary lunch, will take place at The Kroc Center- 1833 Broad St., Augusta, GA 30904.

This month’s presentation, “Life After Diagnosis: Navigating Lung Cancer Survivorship,” will be led by Melissa Manley, RN, BSN, MBAHCM, OCN, CBCN, CNBN.Manley will share practical guidance and resources to help survivors and care partners navigate life after treatment, including follow-up care, symptom management, and support services.

Manley serves as the Director of Oncology and Manager for Breast Health and Outpatient Oncology Services at Piedmont Augusta. She has been with Piedmont Augusta since 1993 and is dedicated to improving patient education and reducing barriers to care for underserved and underinsured populations. She earned her ADN from Cape Fear Community College, a BSN from Chamberlain Nursing School, and an MBA in Health Care Management from Western Governors University.
