AUGUSTA, GA (April 1, 2026) LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the CSRA’s lung cancer community to its educational meeting on Tuesday, April 14, at 11:30 a.m. The free event, which includes a complimentary lunch, will take place at The Kroc Center- 1833 Broad St., Augusta, GA 30904.

Wilva Baldwin, CDP

This month’s presentation, “Living Well at Every Age: Resources Through the Area Agency on Aging,” will be led by Dementia Care Specialist Wilva Baldwin, CDP, the CSRA Area Agency on Aging. During this presentation, Baldwin will share practical resources and strategies that help older adults and caregivers maintain health, independence, and quality of life.

Baldwin leads outreach and education efforts designed to connect individuals with services that support well-being and self-sufficiency. Her background as a former ADRC Counselor provides frontline experience in linking older adults and persons with disabilities to essential community resources.

“The vision of the Area Agency on Aging is to be innovative, quality-driven, efficient, and effective,” said Baldwin. “Our mission is to assist older adults and persons with disabilities to maintain dignity and independence in their homes and communities.”

The LiveLung Augusta chapter meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Lung Cancer patients and their care partners can RSVP at http://livelung.org/meetings/augusta.
