No-Shave began donating to Fight CRC in 2015 in memory of Matthew Hill, father to the founders who established the nonprofit in his honor. Hill was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and passed away in 2007. To-date, No-Shave November has donated $2,444,298 to Fight CRC. Fight CRC has used No-Shave dollars to directly support research, patient resources, and year-round advocacy efforts.
“Fight CRC is grateful to No-Shave November for the awareness and dollars they raise during November each year,” said Anjee Davis, president of Fight CRC. “We’re thrilled to have a longstanding partnership and look forward to many more years of working together.”
“We’re hoping our name helps bring more awareness to these incredible organizations,”said Monica Hill, Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc. President and Co-founder. “No-Shave November has become synonymous with fundraising for cancer and we are extremely proud of that.If we can get our donors to see these nonprofits doing groundbreaking work from prevention to survivor support to researching for a cure…we think that will make a lasting impact.”
