AUGUSTA, GA (February 3, 2026) LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the CSRA’s lung cancer community to its educational meeting onTuesday, February 10, at 11:30 a.m. The free event, which includes a complimentary lunch, will take place at The Kroc Center- 1833 Broad St., Augusta, GA 30904.
This month’s presentation, “Staying Ahead of Lung Cancer: Screenings, Treatment Advances, and Healthy Living,” will be led by Shawn-Ta Brown, PharmD, RPh, a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist and Post-Doctoral Fellow in US Medical Affairs, Oncology at GSK/Howard University, who also serves as an Oral Oncolytic Nurse Navigator at Novant Health Cancer Institute.

Brown earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Presbyterian College and completed undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at the University of South Carolina. She brings extensive experience supporting oncology patients through roles at Atrium Health, Elevance Health, and Bridge Global Pharmaceutical Services, specializing in clinical oncology pharmacy and helping patients navigate complex cancer care with confidence.
