Misty Mountains

October 8th, 2025
The quiet movement of heavy fog amongst the vast expanse of mountains brings me solace. I am drawn to it. I think about how elusive and fragile my sense of spirit has become over time. I've been living with cancer for just about 20 years now, the past eight years with stage 4. It's been a wild and precarious ride. Survivors guilt blankets my heart like the heavy mist in the mountains. And it ebbs and flows on the darkest of days.
