Moving Mountains to Find a Cure

"In the midst of all of the difficulty of trying to deal with something this terrible, having that hope in your back pocket is invaluable to my life and to my family." - Brian Smith, on living with multiple myeloma and participating in Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma's recent Iceland trek.

The documentary for the latest Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma (MM4MM) trek is here:

On August 8-12, the ninth MM4MM team ventured to Iceland. The team of 15 - made up of five patients, a myeloma doctor, and seven caregivers as well as team members from Celgene, CURE and the MMRF - took on Iceland‘s otherworldly, challenging landscape.

The two-and-a-half days of challenging and spectacular hiking included an assortment of geologic marvels, including volcanoes, glaciers, geysers, hot springs, gorges, lava beds, waterfalls and, of course, mountains!
