CURE Connections launches as a trusted educational resource and network of support designed specifically for patients with cancer.

PLAINSBORO, N.J. (August 18, 2015) — Michael J. Hennessy Associates, Inc. (MJH), proudly announces the launch of CURE Connections™, a new video platform designed specifically for patients with cancer. CURE Connections offers a highly impactful series of videos focused on the personal journey of patients with cancer.

Highly respected medical correspondent and host of CURE Connections, Dr. Philippa J. Cheetham, is confident that the video series will help improve clinical outcomes for patients with cancer.

Dr. Cheetham explains that the true value of CURE Connections is that it is so comprehensive, or full-circle, that it addresses not just medical issues but also a variety of other aspects of cancer that are important to patients. CURE Connections can help to educate patients as well as their physicians on the more personal factors of cancer, she adds, and can help standardize best practices nationwide.

The evolving high-quality CURE Connections video series, now available for viewing at the patient’s convenience at http://cureconnections.curetoday.com, explores challenging topics such as being diagnosed with cancer, talking to your doctor about the diagnosis and next steps, myths about cancer and treatment, learning about your care team, healthy nutrition in cancer care, financial assistance for cancer patients, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and taking on the caregiver role. A film titled “Children and Cancer” tells the story of one daughter’s experience, while another, “Working with a Care Team,” features an open discussion between two oncology nurses.

“The patients featured in CURE Connections are inspirational heroes who joined us to tell their stories with the intention of providing hope and strength to viewers who are experiencing similar challenges in their fight against cancer,” explains David Lepping, vice president and executive producer of CURE Connections.

“CURE Connections deepens the commitment of Michael J. Hennessy Associates, Inc., to advancing cancer care through a broad range of educational, research and communications services for the oncology community,” adds Mike Hennessy Jr., president of Intellisphere Oncology and Healthcare Specialty Group.

CURE Connections falls under the umbrella of the CURE Media Group.
